My semi-band, Daizy Cutter, has been working on some stuff at random the past few months, pretty sporadically. People’s schedules have been conflicting an awful lot, which can really stink if you just want to get together and jam. Today, I walk into work and find a gigantic box sitting on my desk. Chris, our lead guitarist, comes over and tells me that this is the recording setup he bought months ago, and wanted me to take a look at it to see if I could figure it out at all.
Keep in mind, Chris is technology retarded, and spent about 2 grand on this thing. Seem like overkill?

This thing is gigantic, that’s for sure. Of course, he also forgot to give me a manual on how to actually, you know, work this thing. I went online and found a PDF of the manual, and just barely have started to learn basic fuctions. About all I can say so far is, it’s so much easier to pull up Audacity and hit record than use this. I have yet to even figure out how to actually record anything. This is going real well.
